TrueKeep ("we", "us", "our") is a Shopify app that provides AI-powered profit analytics for Shopify store owners. We are operated by an independent developer. For questions, contact us at support@truekeep.app.

2. What Data We Collect

When you install TrueKeep, we collect:

• Store information — your Shopify store domain and contact email
• Order data — order totals, revenue, refunds, and payment fees (no customer personal data)
• Product data — product titles, variant IDs, prices, and cost per item
• Shopify access token — stored securely to fetch your store data via Shopify API

We do not collect customer names, addresses, emails, or payment card details.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Calculate your true profit (revenue minus COGS, fees, shipping, and refunds)
• Generate AI-powered insights and recommendations using Anthropic Claude
• Send you weekly profit digest emails and emergency alerts
• Display analytics on your TrueKeep dashboard

We never sell your data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate TrueKeep:

• Supabase — secure database hosting (EU region)
• Anthropic — AI insight generation (your store metrics are sent to generate insights, no personal customer data)
• Resend — email delivery
• Vercel — app hosting
• Upstash — scheduled job processing

5. Data Retention

We retain your store data for as long as your app is installed. When you uninstall TrueKeep, your store is marked inactive. You can request full data deletion by emailing us at support@truekeep.app.

6. GDPR

If you are based in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@truekeep.app. We process your data under the lawful basis of contract performance (providing the TrueKeep service you signed up for).

7. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your Shopify access token is stored securely in our database with row-level security. We follow Shopify's security best practices for app development.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email if we make significant changes. Continued use of TrueKeep after changes means you accept the updated policy.
