How does TrueKeep calculate true profit?

We pull your order data from Shopify and subtract COGS (cost of goods sold), Shopify payment fees (typically 2.9% + 30¢), shipping costs, and refunds from your revenue. The result is your true profit — what you actually keep.

How do I set my product costs?

Go to Dashboard → Product Costs. You can sync costs directly from Shopify if you've filled in "Cost per item" in your Shopify product settings, or enter them manually in the table. You can also set a default margin % during onboarding as a fallback.

When do I receive the weekly email?

Starter plan merchants receive a weekly profit digest every Monday at 9am UTC (2pm India, 9am New York). Professional and Enterprise merchants also receive a daily briefing every morning.

What are emergency alerts?

Professional and Enterprise merchants get real-time alerts when something critical happens — a sudden profit drop, a spike in refunds, a product going out of stock, or orders sitting unfulfilled for more than 48 hours.

My profit shows $0 — what's wrong?

This usually means no orders have been synced yet, or your product costs are not set. Go to Dashboard → Product Costs and either sync from Shopify or set costs manually. New orders will then calculate profit correctly going forward.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Click "Upgrade" on your dashboard. You'll be taken to Shopify's billing page to approve the subscription. Professional is $129/month with a 14-day free trial. Enterprise is $249/month.

How do I cancel or uninstall?

Go to your Shopify admin → Apps → TrueKeep → Delete. This will uninstall the app and cancel any active subscription automatically through Shopify.

Is my data safe?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We only collect order totals and product data — never customer personal information like names, addresses, or payment details. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
